Donations

Unrestricted funds donated to GI Rising support our mission to promote the develop of gastroenterology education and care in Rwanda. These funds are used for:

  • repairing endoscopic equipement,

  • supporting the Rwanda Society for Endoscopy (RSE),

  • care of patients at the Charity Digestive Clinic in Kigali, Rwanda during Rwanda Endoscopy Week (REW),

  • patient support for medications and pathology costs,

  • supporting travel by Rwandan physicians to international GI conferences,

  •  supporting research efforts of Rwandan fellows and residents.

You can also donate to specific areas should you want your financial support to be directed. The areas in which you can specifically support us are: 

  1. Fellowship Education​ - including educational materials, academic pursuits, and research 

  2. Medical Professionals (non-MD) - including vitally needed technicians, nurses, IT specialists

  3. Scholarship Support for Rwandan MDs - to allow continued training in academic careers
